ABC Comp Plan
The City Council voted 6-2 to adopt the updated ABC Comp Plan on March 20, 2017.
Thank you to everyone who took time to attend a meeting, read the draft, send comments, meet with staff, testify at a hearing, post on Facebook, or talk to your neighbors.
We are excited to confirm the shared vision to grow as a city of distinct neighborhoods, vibrant Centers, and multi-modal Corridors that give us safer and easier options to bike, walk, or take transit. Your voices helped strengthen policy protections for community identity, acequias, Open Space, community health, and environmental justice.
The Plan is headed to the Mayor for signature and will become effective 5 days after the City Clerk receives and records it. The Plan will also be sent to Bernalillo County so that it can be submitted to the County’s review and approval process.
Copies of the Greenline draft are still at ABC Libraries, City Community, Multigenerational, and Senior Centers. We supplemented the draft with the adopted floor amendments.
Thanks for your help in making Albuquerque the best it can be!
