Hello Neighbors,

Legislation of Interest

The proposed Complete Streets Ordinance O-14-27 (Benton) received a recommendation of “Do Pass” from the Land Use Planning & Zoning (LUPZ) Committee on Wednesday, December 10. Several neighborhood associations have asked about providing letters of support. We encourage all associations and/or boards to submit letters of support for the Complete Streets Ordinance. You can send them to staff listed on the webpage or to my staff directly at ddolan@cabq.gov. We will make sure they are included in the record.

R-14-142 Bikeways and Trails Plan (Benton, by request) will have a second hearing at LUPZ on Wednesday, January 14 at 5:00 PM in the Council Committee Room, 9th floor of City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend and provide comment on the plan.
R-14-99 (Benton, by request), adopting the proposed successor to the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) will also have another hearing at LUPZ on Wednesday, January 14 at 5:00 PM in the Council Committee Room, 9th floor of City Hall. The proposed committee substitute has been posted online.
