Presbyterian Hospital Growers’ Market
Get double the money with your EBT/SNAP card!

Presbyterian Hospital Growers’ Market has a unique program here in the city. EBT/SNAP customers can receive free market tokens to spend on any EBT/SNAP eligible food at the Presbyterian Market. They can swipe their EBT/SNAP card for any amount up to $20, and receive a matching amount of free tokens to spend on any fruits, vegetables, breads, local raw honey, nuts, and more. Patrons can come back every week while matching funds are available. Thanks to a generous grant from Presbyterian Hospital, this program will (hopefully) be able to last all summer long! Much thanks to The Presbyterian Hosptial for making this program possible.

This year Presbyterian Healthcare has also started a Fruit & Veggie Prescription Program (Fresh Rx). This is the program that connects low-income pediatric patients at risk for diet-related diseases with fresh food from farmers’ markets. Basically, qualifying patients are written a ‘prescription’ for fresh local produce to be purchased at the Downtown Growers’ Market in Robinson Park on Saturdays and the Presbyterian Market on Tuesdays. That’s pretty awesome!

Presbyterian Market is open every Tuesday morning from 7am until noon, and is located in the 1200 block of Central Avenue SE, at the east end of the hospital parking lot. Patrons can turn south on Sycamore then right into the reserved customer parking lot, adjacent to the market.

Join us on Civic Plaza every Wednesday from 11am-2pm for a brand-new, lunch-hour market in the heart of downtown Albuquerque. Get your fix of local produce, unique artisan creations, freshly squeezed juice, refreshing Pop Fizz! paletas (popsicles), delicious lunch fare, and more!

ABQ CashMob will be hitting up the Rail Yards market on August 10th!
The group, which aims to support local businesses, will “mob” the market and encourage the purchase of local produce, goods, and more. Gary Gerew of the Business First states that “the destination of the “mob” is usually kept secret, but the group and its affiliates, including KeepItQuerque, chose to let the cat out of the bag this time in hopes that more people will attend and let more cash out of their wallets.” The mob will be at the market at 1pm; you can check out our neighboring Barelas Rail Yards Market from 9-3pm, every Sunday.
