Nature Packs

Every Saturday (June 28 to August 16) from 9-11:30 a.m. at Bachechi Open Space (9521 Rio Grande Blvd. NW)

Nature Packs is a fun summer activity for the whole family, and it’s free! Packs allow families to explore wildlife, bugs, trees, wetlands, birds, and animals tracks. The packs are ideal for five to ten-year-olds, and pre-school packs are available for three to four-year-olds. It’s easy. You just check out a backpack that is full of all the things you need to explore, including guides, hands-on supplies, and activities sheets. A pack for the senses other than sight is also available. Master Naturalist volunteers will help facilitate the packs and are available to answer nature-related questions. No need to pre-register, just go down to Bachechi Open Space this Saturday to check out a pack. Click here to view the flyer: Nature Packs.
