The City of Albuquerque, Federal Highway Administration, and Mid-Region Council of Governments are leading a multi-disciplinary effort to improve road safety by conducting a West Central Road Safety Audit along Central Ave from Sunset Road to Coors Boulevard. The West Central Road Safety Audit will examine all traffic safety aspects of West Central with a particular emphasis on pedestrians and bicyclists. The Federal Highway Administration will produce a report following the audit. The report will include a thorough analysis of the data collected and provide short, medium and long term recommended measures to address the safety issues that were identified.

We are inviting you to the Kick-Off meeting to explain how a road safety audit is conducted, and to gain from your knowledge of and experience on this stretch of Central Ave. The location and time is as follows:
