As a part of the permitting process of the City of Albuquerque for events, we are providing notice to affected neighborhood associations and homeowners associations of the Scott Schroeder Memorial Bike Ride. The Ride is a fundraising event for the University of New Mexico Cancer Center, and additional details about the event can be found at the links below. The links below also provide a means to register for the ride and to make donations to the UNM Cancer Center to the Scott Schroeder Memorial Fund, which is primarily directed to support the early detection of Cancer.

The ride will begin at the UNM Cancer Center at University and Indian School, proceed west primarily on Mountain to the Bosque Trail, then south on the Bosque Trail to the end of Chavez Loop, then east on Rio Bravo and University to the top of Mesa del Sol, then down Los Picaros to the University underpass. There the cyclists will turn around and return to the UNM Cancer Center along the same route.

The ride will begin at approximately 10 am and will be finished by about 2. We expect no more than 100 riders. The event is not a race and the riders will be instructed to obey all traffic signs and rules. Signage will be put up the morning of the ride to mark the course at various points and will be removed after the conclusion of the ride.

If you have any questions about the event please feel free to contact me.
