This is a reminder about my four “feedback” sessions for voters in my state senate district following the 2012 legislature. I hope you can attend one or more of them and will feel free not only to share your questions and opinions about issues we dealt with during the recently-concluded session, but will also bring along friends, family or neighbors who express an interest. I sent out almost 2,000 letters about this but a large number of residents in the district have moved, so almost 500 of them have been returned as “undeliverable”.

And 2,000 only represents a fraction of all the constituents in district 12. So please spread the word and invite anyone you know has a view on issues like state budget decisions, health care, education, drivers licenses, taxes, redistricting, medical marijuana or anything else we dealt with or should have dealt with in this year’s session. Forward this email to all your email contacts to reach the greatest possible audience.

Here are the dates, times and locations:
Thursday, February 23; 7 p.m. at the Albuquerque Peace and Justice Center on Harvard, SE
Saturday, February 25; 10 a.m. at the Downtown Public Library Theater on Copper, NW
Thursday, March 1; at 7 p.m. at the South Valley Economic Development Incubator on Isleta SW

Hope to see you there! State Senator Jerry Ortiz y Pino (cell phone: 250-1280)
