Energy efficient retrofits are important for lowering operating costs, reducing dependency on nonrenewable energy, and decreasing the amount of Greenhouse gas emissions. There have been many studies by COStar and others that have discovered that there is a potential increase in value of an existing building that is more energy efficient and meets ‘Green’ standards.
