Chris Goblet, the Deputy Director of the Downtown Action Team attended the October Board Meeting. He was there to report on the success of the Downtown Growers Market and to ask for continuing support from the DNA. Thanks to all the residents on Forester who made it another great Halloween in the neighborhood! The DNA allocated $500.00 to purchase candy and toys. Thanks to Sandy Gregory for purchasing the candy and toys and to Lindi Anderson for her donation of hundreds of toothbrushes.

The DNA (Downtown Neighborhood Association) allocated $500.00 to purchase tulip and daffodil bulbs. These bulbs were distributed to DNA residents at the Harvest Festival at the Downtown Grower’s Market on October 25, 2008. Our State Legislators, have secured funds to provide the Downtown Neighborhood with some new trees. These trees will be planted in the public right-of-way between the street and sidewalk.
